Founding member of the incredible NATION OF ULYSSES, the MAKE-UP and currently CHAIN and The GANG, amongst others. aka "the SPIV" ... This Portrait was taken at some point back in the late 90's, at Fort Reno in Washington DC before a FUGAZI show. Ian has written several incredible informative and entertaining books (most recent being CENSORSHIP NOW!), and he has contributed wonderful words for several of mine including, RECOGNIZE, the IDEALIST, and "KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN" my book of FUGAZI photographs (where this pic actually appears) has the most interesting written piece on Fugazi you will ever see.
