U.T.F.O. In the catacombs of The Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles circa 1985. This was probably the first Hip-Hop group i ever made photos with, besides the Beastie Boys... This was around the time their huge single "Roxanne, Roxane" was hitting. The show was a real eye opener for me, the tiny stage, the lip-synching, no band, were all things i was not expecting at a huge 1000's of people live show. Kurtis Blow was headlining, and some kid got killed on the floor that night, I was told later in a big gang fight that broke out.
