To continue from yesterdays original post on the forthcoming "Bones Brigade" documentary, here are some more stills from the interviews, and a few shots from my own unseen archive that may appear in the film.

(I will post a few more images from the production and my personal unseen archive tomorrow, for the last installment)
Now that the first round of interviews have been done, the film is currently only in it's earliest stages of post production. There is no trailer or anything like that even close to being cut yet. Any new information should turn up at powell-peralta.com before anywhere else, so keep your eye over there if you're interested.

This effort looks to be very interesting, thanks for sharing. Hopefully the "international scope" of the Bones Brigade will be noted, thinking here how Mike J.(Jeslowski) was Powell agent of influence and how Mike McGill was "stationed" somewhere in Europe to develop the "McTwist". Was lucky enough to meet the Brigade at Dallas Fort Worth Airport back in '83, Lance spotted the Alva Light Beam under the arm and was nice enough to come over and talk.
ReplyDeleteDoes that full page photo of Mike J. rock and roll sliding the right hand kidney still exist out there? Sliding 15 to 20 coping blocks Circa 1978/80 was big stuff.
Thanks for this man. This documentary is going to be my generations "Dogtown & Z-boys"
